Learning to Move Forward

This month we will celebrate 7 months since our baby, Samuel, went to Heaven. This is also the month (the 8th of March) that Samuel was due. This is also the month (well, week to be more specific) that we will find out the sex of the baby we are currently pregnant with. We also celebrate the news that our friends who have been trying to get pregnant are now expecting. And friends we love so dearly who have been through so much lately, now have a great job. We also celebrated 6 years that John has been home safe from Iraq.

So much to be thankful for. Today I was thinking about how I could really let myself be sad that Samuel won't make his arrival this month, well not here on Earth anyway. But the fact remains that I am utterly grateful that when I take my last earthly breath I with meet the baby I didn't get to hold here! We get to be thankful that we have a life growing in me that is seemingly healthy and growing like a weed (so am I!). We get to be grateful that our friends will get to hold their beautiful baby in October. We get to celebrate with friends who have a job that will support their family and allow them to continue to move forward. I get to be grateful, that I am one of the lucky wives whose husband came home safe from Iraq 6 years ago and leads a normal life (well, some of you who know John might disagree :) ). Lots to be thoughtful about, grateful for & excited about this month!

WHEW!

**This is part of our Take Shape for Life Health Coach team**

Well Saturday was an awesome day of training in Seattle for Take Shape for Life. I love being surrounded by people who are not in competition for business but who really truly have a mindset on getting people healthy, I don't know any other business where that happens! Sunday we spent the morning at Grace Community Church with my in-laws, we really enjoyed it there, I think we'll be going back next Sunday!

But this is a big week for us, tonight we are headed to our neighbors & friends house to get them signed up with Take Shape for Life to change their lives, tomorrow, I am running (ha ha ha) up to Hermiston to visit with my new friend and client, Krista, she is starting on Take Shape for Life. Wednesday, I have one of my last photo sessions for a darling 9 month old little girl & we have our leadership & FIT meeting that evening. Thursday I get to spend some time with my precious friend Megan and Friday, oh Friday, I am so excited, at 10am on Friday we get to find out the sex of this little baby! We can't wait, we are going to take Tristan with us! So excited! Then we are headed to the beach that afternoon to put a floor in my parents beach house...I say "we" but really I'll be hanging out and John will be working! Then Saturday we will be at SHAPE Training in Beaverton...Then Sunday, I think we'll go to church and come home and sleep until next week! Whew, what an upcoming week!

Our first official non welcome to the blog, blog.

I wake up every morning to a happy 4 year old (yes for the last couple of years he has woken up every morning in a great mood!) who crawls into bed with me and immediately says in his super sweet tone, "Mommy, where is daddy? Because I really love him alot." This morning it got even "cuter", he hopped in bed and said, "Mommy, where is daddy? Because I really love him." and I said, "Daddy left for you, but you know what? I love you." and he replied, "I really love daddy."
Nice Tris, thanks for the love! ha ha ha

This has been a busy week, lots of client and potential client meetings with people who want to lose weight or are currently losing weight and getting healthy with Take Shape for Life. Today is the same story! I am meeting with a couple of people who want to get started with Take Shape and a new Health Coach. The cool thing is with this program, I can work from home so I can still have plenty of time to hang out with my son who really loves his daddy. :)

For those of you wondering what Take Shape for Life is, we are a free health coaching program, that utilizes MediFast food to help people achieve weight loss and optimal health. In the course of the last year that I have been coaching with Take Shape my clients together have lost over 6000 pounds! Holy moly, that is as much as a horse! WOW! This program is fantastic, in fact just this week:
Sue P: hit a loss of 50 pounds in 13 week
Samantha J: lost 12 pounds (this was her first week...gotta love water weight)
Brittany L: lost 6 pounds in 1 week
Kayla D: lost 4 pounds in 4 days
Lynnette C: hit a loss of 100.5 pounds since last summer

This is such an awesome program, if you or someone you know needs to lose weight or needs health in their lives contact me for 5% off of your order total, 2 FREE weeks of food, a FREE health coach (me!) and much more!

Welcome to Our Blog

It's always hard for me to figure out how to start a blog. There are 110,000,000 things I'd like to tell you, but probably only a handful of things you'd want to know!

We are the Hardesty Family, we are made up of John, Amy, Tristan & baby. John and I have been married for 5 years (6 on August 7), Tristan is 4 (will be 5 on November 10) and baby, whose sex will be determined on March 12 is due August 11.

John works for Walsh Construction downtown P-Town & I am fortunate (& crazy) enough to stay home with our kids. I work from home as a Certified Health Coach for Take Shape for Life. We help people lose and maintain weightloss. It is an awesome company, we became Certified Health Coaches in 2009 after I lost 44 pounds in just 12 weeks on the program.

This will be our blog to talk about life, family and our business! I hope you enjoy!
